Bali Monument - Kuta
Following the 2002 Bali bombing on 12 October 2002 a permanent memorial was built on the site of the destroyed Paddy's Pub on Legian Street. The memorial is made of intricately carved stone, set with a large marble plaque, which bears the names and nationalities of each of those killed. It is flanked by the national flags of the victims. The monument is well-maintained and illuminated at night.

Kecak Fire Dance - Ubud (most renowned is in Ubud though also other locations)
The renowned Kecak originates from the ancient Indonesian sanghyang exorcism ritual in 1930 modified to include the story of Ramayana a great Hindu epic the story of Rama whose wife Sita is abducted by Ravana the king of Lanka. Mount Agung
The volcanic Mount Agung is the highest point of elevation on the island of Bali dominating the environment and controlling the areas climate. Balinese believe Mt Agung originates from Mt Meru (the central axis of the universe). Monkey Forest - Ubud
The monkeys within the Sacred Monkey Forest of Padangtegal are commonly called long-tailed macaques (Macaca fascicuiaris). The Monkey Forest of Padangtegal represents a sacred Balinese Hindu site with the first temple believed to have been built here in the mid 14th century. Opened in 1982 and is named after a Balinese teacher Suteja Neka who collected paintings as a means of artistic documentation. Pura Ulun Danu Batur Temple
Pura Ulun Danu Batur - near Batur village. This is the most important temple after Besakih, housing more than 90 shrines. Worth visiting at any time of year, especially during the Odalan festival, usually in March depending on the full moon, which is dedicated to the goddess of the crater lake, who is said to control the irrigation systems for the entire island. Sekumpul Waterfalls is known as being one of if not the most beautiful waterfalls in Bali. Tanah Lot Temple
One of the most well known and photographed temples in Bali constructed in the 16th century when a baratha on his travels rested here and met local people who brought him food who he told of the energy of the sacred site leading to the construction. Tirta Gangga Temple - Karangasem
Tirta Gangga meaning water from the Ganges is a site of some reverence for the Hindu Balinese. The palace was built here from the late 1940's to the 1950's by Gusti Gede Djelantik, heir to the former Kingdom of Karangasem. Tirta Empul Temple - Tanpaksiring
A Hindu temple in the middle of Bali Island, Indonesia, famous for its holy water where Hindu Bali people go for purification and to rid disease by bathing in the waters and offering prayer. Ujung Water Palace (Taman Soekasada Ujung) Karangasem
Constructed in 1919 by the late King of Karangasem, I Gusti Bagus Jelantik, who reigned in Karangasem between 1909 and 1945. Destroyed in 1963 by the eruption of Mount Agung and damaged in the great earthquake of 1979 the palace has now been restored.From the you can see the ocean, Mt Agung, rice terraces and lush rolling hills making a spectacular view.
